This week we are studying Black Bears. Get the study and activity sheet here.We are headed to the library to find bear books! I'm excited about this one because I love bears and this specific type is one we are probably most likely to see in the wild around here. When I was a kid staying with my Grandparents at Queen Wilhelmina State Park in Arkansas, occasionally in the fall, they would catch a black bear. Usually one that was causing havoc on the campers. I got to get really close to the captured. Maybe that's why I like them so much.
