Introducing Our Newest Family Member!

Family & Friends,

If you haven’t heard by now, I’m pregnant (well, was), and the baby is here! We aren’t kidding…no joking! We have a new addition to the family and we are bursting at the seams to let everyone know!

You might be wondering, why the secrecy? Truthfully, we started intentionally not telling, because we were heartbroken over our miscarriage last year and did not want to experience a public miscarriage again. We decided to wait until after we found out the sex, to tell even the closest of family and friends. Once we reached that point, it kind of started to become kind of fun to keep it a secret. Of course, I had to admit it to a lot of friends I encountered over the year since with a third pregnancy you do start to show earlier and bigger. I must admit, telling people I was pregnant, each time, was heartbreaking for me because I think of the last time I told people, and the baby we never got to hold, but I was excited and ready to be able to tell people I had an actual baby in my arms. Thus, why we decided to tweet out the news as soon as we could.

3 Wheel at his Big Brother Class
With that said, we want to introduce to you our sweet baby girl, 4 Wheel. We found out at 22 weeks that we were having a girl and a really long time after that (it seemed to me) we decided on a name. We will be calling her "XX" as her nickname. She has been crazy to carry around for 9 months. She has moved probably 100 times more than 3 Wheel ever did. We can’t wait to get to know her.

Speaking of 3 Wheel, he is a very proud big brother. He attended and passed with flying colors his “Big Brother Class”. The biggest thing he took out of the class is that you need to wash your hands around the baby. He also learned how to swaddle a baby, which he now does to his practice babies all the time. He has said over and over that he will be the greatest big brother ever and that 4 Wheel will be the best little sister ever. He has high expectations obviously, but he’s always been a big helper so we think he’ll continue that when it comes to helping with the baby.

Keeping the baby a secret has been hard, but not sharing all my projects I’ve made for her has been REALLY hard! Lol I’ve had so much fun making her things, just like I did for 3 Wheel. Here are a few things I’ve made:
Diaper Changing Pad/Case
Burp Cloth
Onesie and Tutu I made, Mom made the hat

Car Seat Blanket Cover
Owl Pillow Slipcover
'Fanny', 4 Wheel's Fred

One last thing….A big thank you for all of those that we did confide in and that helped us keep the secret. Thank you for respecting our decision. We are so happy and thankful that God has blessed us with this child and so happy so share the news with EVERYONE!

Love,
